At MOSAT Sunday School, our mission is to serve the Lord Jesus Christ by teaching the timeless truths found in His Word. We are dedicated to preparing people of all ages - children, teenagers and adults - for life in the world and the life to come in heaven.
Our goal is to foster a lifelong commitment to the teachings of Jesus Christ, serving families with love and inspiring devotion.
In Mark 10:13, we learn a valuable lesson from Jesus: "And they brought young children to him, that He should touch them; and his disciples rebuked those that brought them."
"But when Jesus saw it, He was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein." (Mark 10: 14-15. (KJV).
Every month on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, our church hosts a Children and Youth Family Ministry Bible Study Classes (children and youth have separate classes).
Our children and youth ministries is a community of young individuals who worship God through prayer, praise, dance, Bible study, and missions service.
We strive to help them grow in knowledge and wisdom as we become devoted disciples of Jesus Christ. Witnessing the power of God through our next generation is truly remarkable.
As we follow the guidance of 1 Timothy 4:12, we believe that no one should underestimate the impact of our youth as they are the future.
For our children, youth and young adults ministries, we hold fast to the wisdom found in Proverbs 22:6 (KJV): "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."
We believe in nurturing and guiding our young members on a path that aligns with God's teachings. By instilling the values and principles of faith in their hearts, we aim to equip them with a strong foundation that will stay with them throughout their lives. Our dedication to training and supporting the youth is rooted in the belief that their commitment to God will remain unwavering as they grow older.
Old Testament Bible Study:
Held monthly on the second Wednesdays, our Old Testament Bible Study delves into the rich history and teachings of the Hebrew Scriptures.
During these sessions, we explore the narratives, prophecies, and lessons found in the Old Testament, gaining a deeper understanding of God's covenant relationship with His people.
Through insightful discussions and reflections, we discover the timeless truths that continue to resonate with us today.
New Testament Bible Study:
Held weekly every Thursday, our New Testament Bible Study is an opportunity to immerse ourselves in the life and teachings of Jesus Christ and the early Christian community.
By studying the Gospels, and the Epistles, and other writings of the New Testament, we deepen our knowledge of Christ's redemptive work, His teachings on love and discipleship, and the establishment of the early Church.
Together, we explore the transformative power of the Gospels and New Testament messages and its relevance for our lives today, and for our eternal future with God.
Every month on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, our church hosts a Men's Family Ministry Bible Study, a special gathering exclusively for men. During these sessions, they come together to learn how to embrace their roles as men and leaders in accordance with God's calling.
As devoted followers of Jesus Christ, the men are taught the fundamental principles of being godly husbands, exemplifying the love of God towards their wives, and cultivating the qualities of godly fathers. Through these teachings, they strive to become living examples of God's image in their daily lives.
Scripture: Ephesians 5:25 (KJV) - "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it."
Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday monthly, our church organizes the Women's Family Ministry Bible Study, a special gathering designed exclusively for women. During these sessions, women come together to cultivate their roles as godly women and exemplify the qualities of Christ.
As followers of Jesus, spiritually mature women are encouraged to be shining examples for the younger women, teaching them the truths of God and imparting wisdom. These studies also focus on empowering women to embrace their God-given purpose and navigate their daily lives in a way that honors God.
Scripture: Titus 2:3-5 (KJV) - "The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed."
Every 4th Wednesday of the month we have our inclusive Bible study group, where we delve into the profound topic of spiritual warfare, exploring the reality of principalities and powers and equipping ourselves with the knowledge and strategies to confront and overcome demonic spirits in our lives.
Each 5th Wednesday of the month is ministry game night.
Through biblical teachings and discussions, we learn about the authority we have as believers in Christ and the spiritual weapons available to us. We strive to develop a deeper understanding of discernment, prayer, and reliance on God's power to triumph over spiritual challenges we may encounter.
Scripture: Ephesians 6:12 (KJV) - "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
